Daily Deen relies on the following third-party services to operate. Each processes certain data about you under their own privacy policies.
Your account credentials, habit records, streak data, and synced journal entries are stored in Supabase, a secure cloud infrastructure provider. Supabase handles authentication, real-time database storage, and file storage on our behalf. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. See supabase.com/privacy.
The AI Journal feature sends your text prompts to Anthropic's Claude API to generate personalised Islamic reflection responses. Your journal input is transmitted to Anthropic's servers for processing. We do not send your name, email, or account ID to Anthropic — only the text you write in the AI Journal. Do not include sensitive personal information in journal prompts. See anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
We use Google services for the following purposes:

On iOS, Apple provides push notification delivery via Apple Push Notification service (APNs), in-app purchase processing, and optional Sign in with Apple authentication. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews.
Habit logs and journal entries are stored on-device first and synced to our servers only if you are signed in and have sync enabled. You can use the app fully offline without an account — in that case no personal data leaves your device.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

You can manage all notification permissions directly in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Daily Deen → Notifications; Android: Settings → Apps → Daily Deen → Notifications).
Location access is optional and can be revoked at any time through your device settings without affecting core app functionality (prayer times can also be set manually).
Daily Deen is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at aelmi416@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
Daily Deen is available worldwide. If you are located outside of the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
EU/EEA users: We process your data based on the legitimate interests of providing the service you have requested, and your consent where required. You have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as described in Section 5.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our app evolves. When we make material changes, we will notify you via an in-app notice or email before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
